In order to have this ready for Tauranga Armageddon I've gone for the Low-Fi version of the Halo 3 Sniper. I've scaled it to be 1500mm long. I intend to make the rifle in 4 parts, fibreglass the interior and then merge the parts, filling with expanded foam as I go. The barrel will be made of a 30mm wooden dowel if I can find one, otherwise I'll use a 30mm pvc tube. Either way I'll extend the barrel the length of the interior of the body to add strength. Hopefully I'll be posting daily updates on this piece so that Anyone following it can see what I'm doing. Todays photo is of the pep viewer that shows my pep I have printed. I'll also attach the pdf to this post.

Ok just a quick update of where I've got to so far. I've pepd about half the rifle. I've found that there are quite a few missing tabs on the file, so I've had to manually draw in my own. For the barrel i took a look at mitre10 and a hollow pole from a broom seems to be the best bet for weight reduction at the moment. Attachments:
