Hey all and Welcome to the 105th Division!
Here is probably the darker side of the page, we`re a pretty laid back group but that doesn't mean that there aren't any rules that need to be followed. They aren't put in place to restrict how much fun we can all have but instead they are here just to make sure that things don't get out of hand and if there is a situation that arises then it's clear where the boundaries are.
So to cut the foreplay short here is the list with a brief description of each:
1. Racism: Not going to lie guys this one is a no brainer. If myself or any of the other admins catch anyone making any seriously racist comments or remarks regarding other members or towards an ethnic group or religion then there are going to be some flak headed your way. We don't discriminate towards anyone or their views and we ask that you respect that.
2. Language: This group is primarily an 18+ group. Therefor swearing isn't a major concern of ours however we ask that you try and keep a limit to how many "F-Bombs" you can drop in one sentence. This also goes towards general smut. Innuendo is fine but there is a limit. The moment someone gets uncomfortable or you begin to sprout off inappropriate one liners then we as the admins will get involved.
3. Behavior: Generally guys, just don't be an ass hat. No-one likes conflict in a group; if you have an issue with a member, an event or anything else that has come up then let us know, don't go on a personal vendetta and cause a scene. As a side note to this, we ask all members (including Admins) that you show respect to each of the other members. Respect that people may may not like the same things as yourself and that what you may consider to be amusing may actually hurt someone elses feelings.
4. Post Spam: This is a big no-no. If we find that someone has posted the same thread over several different posts or, has flooded a thread with post after post then we`ll just delete them. It's annoying as members but also it's a royal pain to sift through for the admins as well.
5. Copy-Cats and Burglars: In a crafting community this is always something that arises and is always an ugly beast to have to deal with. If we find that a member (or staff member) has claimed ownership of a piece of work that is in fact not their own and is instead the hard work of someone else, then this is something we will not take likely. We are all crafters here in our own way and it simply wont be tolerated. On top of this, if you have been accused of stealing someone elses work, then we will be looking into it thoroughly. If we find that either of these have indeed happened then serious actions will be taken.
6. Drama Llama: This is one that I think needs to be added to this list, it isn't perhaps as hard hitting as the other rules but it is needed. A drama llama is someone, or a group, that causes issue for the sake of entertainment. Also someone that cries wolf the moment someone does not go their way and hounds the admins. We`re not a baby sitting service here so try not to call in the admins unless it's something that is a serious issue and not a "This person doesn't like my work".
This just about covers the points guys, I`m not going to bog everyone down with so many rules that it is no longer fun but, it is my place to be -That Guy- in this situation. If any of these rules are broken and is brought to our attention then the admins will look into it and take whatever action is needed. Bare in mind that this may take some time, so just be patient and wait for us to respond with any updates or responses.
